AccordsBalance.
The asset carries its own balance sheet.
AccordsBalance records the issuer's balance sheet on-chain, linked to the tokens it backs. Reserves verify against issuance in real time. The documents behind them stay gated by the holder.
What a token answers for.
Every AccordsBalance record ties three things together: what the issuer holds, what stands against it, and the digest that makes tampering visible.
Recorded, not reported
The balance sheet is written to the chain the tokens live on, not published as a PDF. It changes when holdings change.
Verified by anyone
Reserves check against issuance in real time, without an audit appointment. The check is public.
Gated where it should be
The documents behind the record stay access-controlled by the holder. Proof is public; paperwork is permissioned.
The balance sheet, as filed.
The same certificate anatomy as the action receipt, pointed at reserves. The specimen is illustrative; its digest is real.
- HOLDINGS
- What the issuer holds — allocated, identified, custodied.
- ISSUANCE
- What stands against it, token for token.
- RECORD
- One canonical serialization, one digest. Change a character, change the digest.
The digest below is the actual SHA-256 of the specimen’s fields, computed when this page was built.
Verify one yourself- ISSUE
- Tokenized gold series AU-04 · 12,400 tokens issued
- BACKING
- 12,400 oz allocated gold · one ounce per token
- CUSTODY
- Vaulted, serial-numbered bar list · held by the program custodian
- ATTEST
- Balance sheet recorded on-chain · verifiable against issuance in real time
Illustrative specimen of an AccordsBalance balance sheet. The digest is the real SHA-256 of these fields — recompute it yourself. Live balance sheets are what the product records; this specimen claims the shape.
Asked, answered.
Is this an audit?
No. An audit is an opinion at a point in time. AccordsBalance is a record that updates with holdings and verifies against issuance whenever anyone asks. The two work together; one does not replace the other.
What does AccordsBalance actually prove?
That the balance sheet the issuer recorded matches the tokens outstanding, continuously. It proves recorded backing; the reserves themselves are attested by the documents behind the record, which stay access-gated by the holder.
Does it require AccordsAgents or AccordsExchange?
No. AccordsBalance runs on the same rail but stands alone. A venue running AccordsAgents gets both artifacts from one integration: receipts for actions, balance sheets for backing.
